What Annoys You Most The Outrageous Claims For Moat Cleaning Or The Piddling Claim For Dog Food And Tampons.?

September 21, 2009 by Swimming Pool Fanatic · 7 Comments

The tories have taken a bashing for chandeliers, moat cleaning, swimming pool maintenance and tennis court repairs. Labour have seemed to claim lots of money for lots of trivial items. Dog food, tampons, biscuits, etc. The money seems to be about the same so whats worse, the outrageous cheek of the tories or the miserly money grubbing of labour?

What annoys me most about all this is the fact that these are not , or ever have been essential living expenses. With that in mind every claim that wasn’t for work related travel ,lodgings or food is wrong. I am sick to death of hearing MP’s say its within the rules. The rules where written by them for them and to every person in this country who isn’t an MP are obviously wrong.
The other point is that many clams would appear to be tax evasive or fraudulent. I hope that the police (ok so I am an optimist) do their job correctly and prosecute these criminals.
Cant wait to cast my vote and teach these greedy spongers a lesson.

    Hi there
What annoys me most is that each of the whining scum repeat the mantra “within the rules”.
I swear if one more says this I will explode.
Incidentally, our local newspaper has approached our local MPs to ask if they are prepared to publish their expenses to the local voters. One MP, Bob Ainsworth, says his receipts are in too much of a mess. He is the minister for our Armed Forces!!

The expenses claimed are supposed to be in support of their work as an MP.
The tampon claim was submitted by a man, I’d love to hear that claim justified.
As for the dog food, what has that got to do with an MP’s “parliamentary duties”?

As Terry Thomas would have said,” A shower an absolute shower !”
Don’t forget the Liberals have yet to be revealed although one came up yesterday, the M.P.for St.Ives who’s well and truly had his snout in the trough.

It makes no difference how large, or small the claims have been, the tax payers have still been cheated!

  6. Big Bear says:

Both. They are stealing from the people. They should be tarred and feathered.

  7. Nickleba says:

They should not be claiming for any of that. It just goes to show why they are really MP’s.
